Description

The Husqvarna Viking Fuse-On Whisper Web Mesh Black Stabilizer is a semi-sheer, textured polyester iron-on cut-away stabilizer designed to eliminate bulk, stiffness, and show-through often associated with stay-in stabilizers. Providing permanent support, this stabilizer is ideal for stretch fabrics and garments, as well as projects worn close to the skin, offering a soft yet durable backing for embroidery. Its translucent nature ensures no bulk, stiffness, or shadowing, maintaining the fabric s natural drape and appearance. Applied before hooping, Fusible No-Show Mesh helps prevent fabric distortion, making embroidery placement easier and more precise—no need for messy spray adhesives or glues! Measuring 12 x 10 yards, this stabilizer is perfect for ensuring professional-quality embroidery results on delicate and stretch fabrics.

How to Use:

  1. Cut the Stabilizer Cut a piece of Fusible No-Show Mesh large enough to fit your selected hoop, ensuring at least 1” extra on all four sides.
    (Note: The shinier side is the fusible side.)

  3. Position the Stabilizer Place the fusible side against the wrong side of the fabric in the area where the embroidery will be stitched.

  5. Fuse in Place
    Set the iron between medium and high heat (adjust based on fabric type).
    Press to fuse the stabilizer onto the fabric. (This does not require a permanent bond, as it will be peeled back after embroidery.)

  7. Hoop the Fabric and Stabilizer
    Position the fabric and stabilizer in the hoop, tightening securely without pulling or stretching the fabric.
    For higher stitch count designs, add a second layer of No-Show Mesh or a light tear-away stabilizer for extra support.

  9. Stitch the Embroidery Complete your embroidery as usual.

  11. Trim Excess Stabilizer Carefully trim away excess No-Show Mesh, leaving approximately 1 4” around the outside edge of the embroidery design.

  13. Follow Fabric Care Instructions Wash, dry, or dry-clean the finished embroidery according to the fabric s care recommendations.
